People of all ages grieve their losses - children included. This book gently guides those of grade-school age who are grieving loss through death and toward full acceptance and joyful remembrance. The material is age-appropriate; kids are all about "doing." This workbook gives young readers a means of becoming deeply and actively involved in their own healing; it uses guided journaling, artistic expression through drawing/coloring/collage creating and suggests active projects about honoring those lost to death. The author, a registered nurse, moved fully into the specialty area of Family Support nearly two decades ago and has acquired both focused formal education and broad professional experience in the intervening years.
