I wrote the book following a personal bout with invasive breast cancer to help breast cancer patients and their families understand the physical, emotional and spiritual battles which lay ahead more clearly. It is written in a devotional format, not day by day, but stage by stage. I have stripped off any and all layers of pretense to allow the reader to be honest with herself and her family. We would all like a way around the diagnosis of cancer, but for those of us who must go through it, this book provides a step by step revelation of what to expect along the way. There are chapters written to the husband of the patient from my husband. It is also a tool for presenting the Gospel and the power of the Word of God.
