On a north-easterly tip of the Shetland mainland stands a lonely stone farmhouse. Windblown, and rain swept; myths of little folk and ghosts shrouded in mist. Here the Jameson family lives cut off from outsiders. Held together in self-inflicted isolation, driven by mistrust and disgust. Family secrets and a revenge decades old keep locals at a distance. A collective misery this old cannot continue indefinitely. The arrival of an outsider triggers a series of events that cracks open the reclusive family. The consequences will either heal old wounds, or destroy what little remains.
