The Reunion
Helen Cannam
Jan has been married for thirty years, and her youngest child has just left home. Her husband Keith has been unusually silent and moody recently, and Jan is suffering from empty-next syndrome. So an opportunity to revisit the past in the form of a university reunion offers a welcome change, and Jan looks forward to it. As she meets up with old friends and makes new ones - especially archaeologist Dan Hadley - Jan takes stock of her life, and of her marriage. But the reunion is just the starting-point for a series of unexpected and far from welcome developments which will, ultimately, turn her world upside down...
