Thoughly documented, it consists of biographies of 150 officers from the past. The author also conducted interviews with the oldest living male and female officers who served this department - with some eye opening revelations. There are well over 100 photographs in the book, some dating to the 1880's. This history documents a part of police history not well known in Indianapolis.
