Publisher Marketing: Position X and The Twelve Shape Theorem is a practical guitar chord and scale shape reference. In Position X, all the shapes are movable to, and at the same time fit in, any single position along the guitar fretboard. Position X introduces and showcases the twelve main root note shapes as they exist in the given guitar position using four chord types, the augmented, major, minor and diminished, as well as four scale types, the descending melodic minor, harmonic, ascending melodic minor and major. The picking hand, fingers or plectrum, takes advantage of this cycle...
