Aqwa
Peter Freewater
Aqwa is a fun, fast moving, alien surf adventure. The story is about a dodgy big-wave surfer snatched from the surf and taken to an alien world to fulfil an ancient prophecy in a hope that he can save the planet from overpopulation and environmental destruction. The aliens are linked to the Sumerian Anunnaki and many other mythological creatures from Earth. Surfing is a part of the mainstream culture of Aqwa and was introduced by a previous "Messiah," also abducted from Earth more than 2,000 years ago. The Aqwarian belief system predicts a second coming should they stray from their religion and return to their sinful ways. To fulfill the ancient prophecy our unlikely hero must first become the Aqwarian surfing champion and then surf his way onto an ancient volcano to retrieve and read from the Book of Water. He goes along with the plan, surfing incredible waves in mad landscapes.
