The year is 2017 and Eduardo Rodriguez has been sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. The charismatic New Yorker takes office planning to take Barack Obama's ideals steps further with the help of a heavily-Democratic Congress. People on the Left side of the aisle are looking forward to expanding social programs and increasing regulation on American business. "Bull" Dukeman doesn't share the optimism of the Democrats. Soon after Rodriguez takes office, the West Virginian loses his job, for which he blames the Liberal agenda. Spurred on by the Far-Right media, Dukeman is recruited to take part in a plot which will throw the nation into war. When the fighting is over, the American political scene has drastically shifted. Bull's associates are thriving. but Bull wonders if the whole of the nation is truly better off.
