"Fight Like a Mom" chronicles the journey of 5-time cancer survivor and mother of four, DeAnna Rice, as she battles this devastating disease. Her primary reason for fighting so hard was to be able to see her children grow up. She talks openly about being scared. Dealing with the disease caused her to make life decisions that she later regretted. This is her story of hope. It was only by chance that she was diagnosed with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome and positive for the BRCA (Breast cancer) gene mutation. This information changed her treatment and the course of her life. She takes seriously her responsibility to reach as many people as possible, to give them information that can change their lives, like it did hers. Choosing to be happy and using God as her strength and her guide to overcome the many obstacles she faced. She hopes the story of her life is able to inspire you through whatever obstacles you are trying to overcome. We all learn life's lessons in our own way. However, no one said we have to do it alone.
