The Shallow End of Town
Al Reisz
Personal memoir with over 70 author taken photographs in color. Much has been written and recorded about Hurricane Katrina's devastation of New Orleans. Very little is known how this storm impacted whole communities north and east of the city. This factual account takes place in South Slidell, Louisiana in extreme southeastern Saint Tammany Parish. It is one family's telling of the day Katrina struck and the immediate aftermath of the storm.
