Sevannah Carlson has a distressingly normal life, with a distressingly normal job and a distressingly normal boyfriend, whose sole quirk is the claim to have discovered time travel. This is, of course, impossible, and so Sev ignores it - until Matthew disappears, and her search for him leads to a time-traveling kitchen chair in his basement. With the help of a mysterious man named Sime, Sev uncovers the truth about time travel, and the all-powerful corporation that seeks to control it by any means possible - including erasing any rivals from existence. With the corporation's police, Tendence and Cavile, on her trail, Sev sets off on an eon-spanning search for Matthew. Will Tendence and Cavile catch her first? Or can she find Matthew before she becomes history?
