Daniel Tyler lived life without friends or becoming a friend to anyone before he met Ogden Royal. Ogden would soon become the older brother Daniel never had and, for reasons he would discover, a man who deserved his admiration and who would demand his loyalty. After uncovering the truth concerning Ogden, Daniel once again found himself alone. Far away from those who had tried to love him, he had to decide if his life had been useless and shameful. As he struggled with his failures and the demons that had hounded him for as long as he could remember, he was unaware of a tragic event that would challenge whatever resolve he could muster.
