The book takes its title from a poem by Gerard Manley Hopkins, favorite poet of the author. It pulls together almost sixty years of Roman Catholic Priesthood. A few years in a parish, then to teach at a prep seminary - then College seminary to teach literature and drama - direct plays; then to the National Academy of Fine Art, NY... years of sculpture, always with love of writing poetry; a collection of them in this book, along with pictures of a couple of the sculptures and drawings, and essays on some of the characters who met Jesus. The life's work of a priest who loved his Priesthood, poetry, years of sculpture, trying never to lose sight of the Jesus who called him. A priest who is loved by all those whose life he has enriched as they have seen Jesus in him.
