Lerrez Crawford was born in complete squalor to two drug-addicted parents in the in inner-city housing projects of Camden, NJ. Life dealt her a bad hand from the very beginning and her only escape from reality was being able to spend time with a sister, Kia, that her father had with another drug addict, and her elementary school teacher, Ms Corp. Dark-skinned, thick and undeniably beautiful, Lerrez's life would be anything but sweet as she struggles to escape the grips of the cold streets was met with a domino effect of tragedy. Lerrez had to deal with the violence and crime that was right outside her front door. With no guidance or family structure prostitution became not just a way to eat but survival for poor little Lerrez. Before she could reach 18-years-old, she gets shuffled off to a foster home, thrust onto the streets, housed in juvenile detention and taken in by her long-lost grandmother. During this whole ordeal, the streets became her survival kit and so with nothing to lose Lerrez became the ultimate stick-up girl. Robbing, gun play and setting up rival drug dealers was a fast come up for the misguided teenager. She experienced sexual and drug abuse, murders and misadventures that are not too uncommon for people surviving in inner-cities across the nation. A chance meeting with a big-time producer from L. A. proves to be the ticket to stability. Just when she finds solace with the love of her life, all of the dirt she did in Camden threatens to snatch away her fairytale ending.
