Rooted in God is not intended to be a literary masterpiece but as a remembrance of the late Father Kevin Wall, O. P.?s conferences. The conferences were taped and later compiled and transcribed into longhand. The hand written manuscript, having been in obscurity for many years have turned yellow and the ink faded which made it difficult to read. Instead of discarding the manuscript, I decided to retype it. While re-reading the conferences, chapter after chapter, I felt my heart burning within me like the two disciples felt on the way to Emmaus when Our Blessed Lord explained the Scriptures to them. It was then I decided to publish Fr. Kevin?s conferences.

Instead of describing the profundity and the clarity of Fr. Kevin?s conferences, the best thing I can do is ask you to read the book.

To quote Fr. Kevin, I submit to you the following:

?It is by contemplation that we should simply come in contact with the great truths of Faith. If we are capable of being stirred, then our enthusiasm will overflow into the actions of our life. If we are not capable of being stirred, then nothing is capable of stirring us. Those who are capable of being stirred as by hearing a piece of music will be stirred, and if they are not capable of being stirred, nothing is capable to do it for them.?
