Captain Arnie Dubois is a typical colorful water front characture which can be found in any of the worlds' big game fishing ports. He is handsome, single, virle, and hard working and is age 33 at the beginning of the story. Arnie and his companions all strive very hard to make a living at the traditionally non-lucrtative job of charter fishing. The dream of all charter captains is to obtain a job as captain on a large expensive yacht, and to be paid a handsome salary. Arnie pursues this dream when he meets a wealthy Texas oil man who charters Arnies' boat for a day fishing trip on the Kona Coast. Arnies' good luck is confirmed when his wealthy friend purchases a two million dollar yacht in Texas, and hires Arnie to be the Captain of it. Arnie combines open ocean cruising with big game fishing and finally ends up back in his home port of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Much excitement and adventure and pleasurable site seeing occure on his journey.
