Struggling through four years o infertility I slowly lost faith in ever conceiving a child naturally. My husband and myself decided as a last resort to do a one-month cycle of Inter Uterine Insemination. Never in my wildest dreams were there expectations of a positive result of the conception of one baby but when we saw two beating hearts on the ultrasound monitor it was overwhelming. My pregnancy was normal and treated sacred throughout. At 27 weeks of pregnancy our worlds were turned upside down when my Obstetrician informed me I was in premature labor during a routine physical exam. After my emergency cesarean section I had no idea what lied ahead as my twin boys were born weighing just over 2 pounds each and would spend the next 10 weeks in the hospital.
