Two years have passed since Gideon's victory in the Crystal Forest. Now possessed by the dark energy that consumes him he intends to finish what General Zadock had begun. Lady Elana, in a final act of desperation, has sent Rose far off into a distant future. However new friends have joined with Lars in his quest to stop Gideon before it is too late. As they search for answers, Lars hears an ominous voice calling to him from seemingly out of nowhere. The voice claims to be Lady Elana and insists that he return to where his journey first began-to the Mountains of Yunwee Djunsiti. Once again he is told that he must enter the magic mirror, hidden deep inside the sacred Blood Chamber. The strange voice, which repeadatly calls to him insists that the mirror is more than it appears to be. It is there Lars is told that he shall find his destiny. That That he shall once and for all uncover the secrets behind who he is and where he comes from.
