It is also written that the "effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." These prayers are meant to help new Christians in developing a prayer life and enhance the prayer lives of growing Christians. We can be confident in these prayers, for the Apostle Paul said, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."
