The land has become dark in the last century. A vengeful wizard stalks his dark tower, never dreaming that his greatest challenge to date has already begun to develop. Drehil is one of the most powerful mages to have ever lived. No man that has stood against him has ever survived. His name is known to all, and it has been many years since anyone dared challenge him. Much of what he has come to take for granted is about to change. Four young boys have just come of age to begin their training. They will become a warrior with mystical gifts; a sorcerer with an uncanny ability to focus on the smallest of details; a woodsman with the ability to shift his physical form; and a shadow walker with the skills of a master thief but the heart of a hero will all find their way to Drehil's doorstep when they are ready. They can only hope that their combined skills are enough to stop what began so long ago. Only time will tell.
