Located on a route that is the shortest distance between Los Angeles and Seattle, this town seems inocuous enough, however, a peak beneath its exterior reveals enough oddities, quirks and interesting characters to fuel the tabloids for centuries. This rendering of the author's memoirs offers shameless name-dropping of well-known personalities, recounts of events that have local, near-legandary status (among those involved at least) and some actual history that didn't quite make it into the history books.
