It is a collection of poems written by the past Poet Laureate of the Indiana State Federation of Poetry Clubs detailing the feelings of civilians & combatants of the Civil War in verse of the type that was written in that era. Some is humorous, some poignant, but all shows insight and understanding of the unique feelings and circumstances endured during this turbulent period in our history.
