"Beauty Begins in Me" is an inspirational children's book, written by 10 year old Riah, that teaches beauty is not about how you look but instead about you speak, think, and act. In this book, Riah shares the "Beauty Recipe." This recipe, handed down to her by her parents, includes three very important positive life skills to being beautiful. By passing on the "Beauty Recipe," she hopes to motivate all children to recognize that beauty begins within. She emphasizes the importance of a positive self image and encourages her message to be shared with all children.

This book is a great read when teaching about affirmations, compliments, and positivity.
