A superb blues guitarist and singer, Rob Donavan is based out of Dallas and maintains a high profile through his gigs and blues jam appearances from one end of town to the other. Rob has shared the stage with many Texas blues personalities such as Hash Brown, Holland K. Smith, Sam Myers, Nick Curran, Kim Davis, Miss Marcy, Chris Ruest, Kathy Prather, Marvin Seals, Johnny Moeller, Pops Carter, Robin Banks, Ray Davis, Bobby Walker, Chris Zalez, Bill Johnston, Texas Johnny Boy, and Mitch Palmer. He is well versed in a variety of blues styles and idioms and plays the blues in a way that is fresh and exciting while remaining reverent to the material and the old masters who crafted it.
