"Inside Out: Growing up Gay" is a nonfiction short story memoir that follows a young girl who longs to move from the anxiety, terror and abuse of growing up gay with conservative, religious parents to finding peace, but she needs a personalized and excruciating map to show her the way. I have an MBA and a Master of Science in Information Technology. I have never published a work before. I am gay and live in a small, conservative and rural community in Arkansas where I grew up. When you read my work, you will find the irony in the fact that I still live here. My work will shock you while simultaneously making you cry and laugh as it builds to hopeful completion that touches the soul. My work will attract many of your readers who share the same tormenting experiences growing up gay and will give hope to your readers who are considering coming out.
